Jamie Vardy’s wages have been upped after Leicester City informed him of a ‘daft’ contract decision
Leicester City have been informed it would be “daft” not to offer Jamie Vardy a new deal.
Former Liverpool and Aston Villa defender Stephen Warnock believes it would be silly for Leicester to let 37-year-old Vardy, who has scored 20 goals this season, go when his current deal expires at the end of the season, but he believes Vardy will have to accept reduced earnings to continue with the club.
“He won’t be able to command what he’s doing at the moment because to his age, but he’s always talked highly of Leicester City and the opportunity they’ve given him, and he’s returning them.
