Jack is doubtful to play against Ross County for the Rangers due to injury.

Due to an injury, Ryan Jack will miss the Rangers’ next game against Ross County. Rangers manager Philippe Clement said that throughout practice, Leon Balogun is currently donning a protective mask.

After taking a knock during the 2-0 victory against Ayr United, the manager at Ibrox has now announced that the Scotland international will be out of action.

Meanwhile, Balogun was hurt in the face by Livingston, which Clement had earlier described as “not good”.

It now appears likely that both players will be out of shape for Wednesday night’s Scottish Premiership match.

“Ryan Jack will not be in the squad as he is still in his recovery programme as we rebuild him from injury,” said the Belgian player.

Leon Balogun trained with a mask, we still need to make adjustments to the mask – I have experience with this that is normal.”

When Clement’s team plays the Dingwall club, who are now led by Don Cowie in an acting capacity following Derek Adams’ resignation last week, they have the opportunity to win the league.

The hosts will overtake rivals Celtic if they win by three goals or more.

The 49-year-old, nevertheless, is adamant that his club is approaching each game as it comes.

“I’ve been long enough in this game, the mindset is always important and need that from our players,” he said.

“To have ambition, unity, and hunger. My team’s focus and understanding that the upcoming game is crucial make me very delighted.

Because coaches are highly motivated when given the chance, we expect a very tough game. We will require extreme skill both with and without the ball.”

It’s the only way, in my opinion, to be ready for anything that may come up. I’m confident enough to make the necessary changes.

Almost every three days, there will be a game, so everyone needs to be prepared. Five minutes can make all the difference in a player winning a trophy.”
