The hoops  slipped up in the title race over the weekend. Rangers are now three points back, with a game in hand. Where do you believe the title will end up?

KEITH JACKSON: Celtic remain favourites to win, but Rangers are gaining momentum at the right time.

If Philippe Clement wins the next Old Firm derby, the Belgian might complete a remarkable title turnaround.

CRAIG SWAN: Rangers have the momentum, and with problems at Celtic, the Ibrox club has moved into a tiny lead.

GRAEME YOUNG: Philippe Clement talked about the marathon he was about to start,

and now his rival has a major puncture. Rangers are far outperforming Celtic,

but all hope for the Greens is not lost. Brendan Rodgers’ roaring record versus Rangers is his trump card,

and the title can be retained if his derby magic continues.

The Hoops dropped points for the sixth time this season at Pittodrie on Saturday

SCOTT BURNS: I truly believe it’s too close to call. Rangers have done well,

but there may still be some twists and turns to come. Head-to-heads could make the difference.

Neil Warnock is expected to be named Aberdeen’s temporary manager.

How do you think the Dons will finish in the Premiership standings under him?

Keith Jackson: Aberdeen is in flux. If Warnock gets his hands on them, he hopes to finish in the top six.

However, Saturday’s Jeckyll and Hyde performance against Celtic exemplifies the enormity of the task that awaits the old man.

CRAIG SWANN: Warnock should be able to propel them into the top half and challenge Kilmarnock for fourth place.

Hearts are gone for the third time.

GRAEME YOUNG: Fourth. Hearts are long gone from third place,

but Warnock appears to be a strong fit for this current Aberdeen side,

who will likely prosper playing under football’s self-made underdog.

The second half against Celtic was a prototypical Warnock performance,

and it felt like the 75-year-old was driving the stirring about turn.

SCOTT BURNS: Hearts are too much clear in third place. So fourth seems to be the best they can do. Anything less than that is disastrous.

Livingston is floating at the bottom. Who do you think will finish at the bottom and advance to the playoffs?

KEITH JACKSON: Livi are gone, and rightfully so. Ross County is now in the play-offs and shows little potential to advance.

CRAIG SWANN: Livi are unlikely to save themselves this season, and Ross County aren’t doing enough to avoid a playoff.

GRAEME YOUNG: Livingston appears to be gone, but the real fun begins with predicting who will be sweating buckets throughout the playoffs. St Johnstone,

led by Craig Levein, has swagger and should be able to escape.

Ross County appear to be on the cusp of collapse,

but Motherwell are a definite bet not to win on a weekly basis.

However, if Livi finishes last, County will face a playoff rematch.

SCOTT BURNS: I dread the worst for Livingston, and on current form, Ross County looks like they’ll finish second-bottom, but Motherwell and St Johnstone are also safe.

What do you believe will be the best signing during the winter transfer window?

Keith Jackson is Kevin Van Veen. Derek McInnes has been quietly doing an outstanding job at Kilmarnock,

and the Dutch striker will help the manager secure a European spot for the Ayrshire club. They deserve no less.

Craig Swann: Michael Mellon and Owen Beck for Dundee.

The kids look absolutely stunning and are future stars in Dens Park.

GRAEME YOUNG: Kevin Van Veen is the attractive pick,

while Michael Mellon at Dundee appears to be the real deal.

Tony Docherty’s exciting debut season in charge has been shaped by Dundee’s propensity for making timely signings.

And the Burnley loanee fits the bill.

SCOTT BURNS: I believe Hearts’ recruitment of Scott Fraser might be significant.

He adds some flair and can help the Jambos finish the season in style.
