Will Tommy DeVito Miss the Dallas Showdown?
Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito, officially listed as questionable for Thursday’s game against the Cowboys, is almost certain to miss the matchup.
DeVito stayed behind for further evaluation on his injured right forearm while the team traveled to Dallas. Reports on Wednesday suggested he wouldn’t play, and multiple updates on Thursday confirmed his absence.
This paves the way for Drew Lock to make his first start with the Giants. Lock, who served as the backup to Daniel Jones all season, was passed over for the starting job when Jones was benched in favor of DeVito—a decision Lock wasn’t happy about.
Now, Lock gets his opportunity to prove the Giants made the wrong call as he takes the field on Thanksgiving.
