Four Rangers players now ruled out of Ayr United clash due to injury

Prior to Rangers’ Scottish Cup match on Saturday, February 10th against Ayr United, Philippe Clement has provided an update on the team.

The Gers, who hosted United at Ibrox, are the clear favorites going into this match.
Kemar Roofe, Danilo, Leon Balogun, and Tom Lawrence—all injured and unavailable for selection—will not be available for them to use.

“Ben Davies is back in for selection,” Clement declared. As with Jack midweek, Tom Lawrence‘s exclusion from the squad is more of a precaution to guarantee adequate recuperation in between minutes. Ryan Jack has rejoined the team.

“Players who have a history of injuries require special attention, and there should be open communication between the players and the medical staff.”

Leon Balogun saw a specialist, and I anticipate seeing him again the following week. I don’t know if it’s Ross County or the weekend, but he’ll be back wearing a mask.

“It takes a few sessions sometimes to get used to the mask.”

Rangers over Ayr United is a clear favorite.

Rangers are the overwhelming favorites going into their fifth-round matchup with Ayr United, having won their last seven games and looking great under Clement.
