With successful business being done at Ibrox, the football finance specialist acknowledged that there is

no reason why Rangers shouldn’t take advantage of the chance.

Cifuentes is scheduled to undergo a medical examination in the coming days and join Cruzeiro on a one-year

loan with a buyout option. The window for him to join is open until March 7.

Cifuentes is set to join Cruzeiro on an initial loan with an option to buy and is set to present himself

for a medical in days, with their window open until March 7.

He said exclusively to Ibrox News, “Why not take that opportunity if you have it?”

“You can examine this by looking at this specific example involving Rangers and the Brazilian market,

as well as the Saudi market and how the European market functions marginally differently

from the Scottish and Premier League windows.

“Why not take advantage of that opportunity if it is presented to you?

“Obviously, it has to work out well for everyone involved, but it creates a chance that other clubs don’t have,

so if you can take advantage of it and make a profit that way, it’s smart business to be able to do that when necessary.”

Philippe Clement transfer happy at Ibrox.

After an efficient February window at Ibrox, Philippe Clement spent the majority of his money on Mohamed Diomande,

something that no doubt opened the door for Cifuentes to leave.

Given the window slammed shut with no movement in February though, people may have been scratching their heads,

but Rangers have taken advantage of other countries to get rid of some dead wood.

Yet again, Rangers are ahead of the rest with their business moves.
