Re-signing a former Pro Bowl offensive lineman is something the San Francisco 49ers are considering.

This season, the offensive line for the San Francisco 49ers was respectable; they allowed 29 rushes (the highest number), 45 hits (20th), 108 pressures (28th), a 19.9% pressure percentage (20th), and 34 sacks (26th).

ProFootball Network rated San Francisco’s offensive line as the 15th best in the league despite these impressive results.

Since Trent Williams and Aaron Banks are locked in for the upcoming campaign, the C, RG, and RT spots may be open for grabs. The team may choose to address those positions through the draft or free agency.

San Francisco might get back together with an offensive tackle that been in the Pro Bowl in the past.

Reporters were informed by general manager John Lynch that they intend to talk to representatives of free agent Laken Tomlinson regarding his possible return to San Francisco.
