Tomlinson played with San Francisco for five seasons.

In 2017, San Francisco sent Laken Tomlinson to Detroit in exchange for a 2019 fifth-round pick.

Tomlinson’s time with San Francisco was quite successful. Over his five seasons, he averaged 4.8 penalties, 3.2 sacks, and a 70.66 PFF Grade. He started 80 of the 81 regular season games.

In 2021, he had his best season and was selected to his first Pro Bowl.

San Francisco has several guards that they would like to see return, besides Tomlinson.

Guard Jon Feliciano is another player that San Francisco is considering re-signing.

As Aaron Banks’ backup at the beginning of the season, Feliciano also filled in for Burford during Banks’ absences in Weeks 10, 11, and 17. Additionally, he covered for Burford in Weeks 12, 14, 15, and 16 when he was absent.

Feliciano performed admirably for both players in relief. He had an 81.2 PFF Grade, zero sacks allowed, and two penalties.

In the three playoff games, Feliciano started at the beginning and occasionally took Burford‘s place. Felicano participated in 34/64 snaps versus Kansas City, 66/66 snaps versus Green Bay, and 31/75 snaps versus Detroit. In the postseason, he finished with a 68.2 PFF Grade, one sack allowed, and no penalties.

Lynch made the following statement regarding Feliciano’s return.
