49ers have paid $14 million to hire great manager next season
Although the Kansas City Chiefs would prefer to keep their outstanding cornerback L’Jarius Sneed,
if they do trade him in the coming weeks, they might get a great return because there is a sizable market for his skills.
It was rumored last week that the Chiefs told L’Jarius Sneed, an upcoming free agent,
that they planned to utilize their franchise tag on the gifted defensive back. 
The team is rumored to be working to get him signed to a new, long-term contract.
However, they are totally open to the notion of trading him in the upcoming weeks,
given that it is probably going to be difficult to do.
Despite not having been selected to the Pro Bowl in his four-year career,
the 27-year-old was projected to have a large number of suitors in free agency because of his improvement and his key role in two championship teams.
It appears that there is a considerable demand for his services on the trade market.
Six clubs have expressed interest in acquiring Sneed in the last few days,
When superstar linebacker Dee Ford’s worth peaked after winning a Pro Bowl in 2019,
the Chiefs franchise traded him for a second-round pick five years ago.
Sneed might earn a comparable return in a trade this year, according to league rumors.
That was, though, before it was evident how much demand there was for his services on the trade block.
In addition, cornerback is a premium position in today’s league, and a player’s worth increases when he has two Lombardi trophies on his record.

might still select Sneed with their first-round pick.
