and also came off the bench, might have turned things around at Alavés this season.

However, with Rangers beginning to move on, the Romanian’s stuttering record

of only two La Liga starts since early November – and only six in total this season

– shows no signs of ending.

to be bidding adieu to his Ibrox duties.

The Rangers allegedly failed to secure an early release from the loan arrangement

with Rangers in 2021. The playmaker would go on to make 99 appearances at Ibrox.

It is highly unlikely that he will ever have the opportunity to reach 100.
