You might have been shocked to learn that Rabbi Matondo, a winger, was making his 50th appearance for the Ibrox team when he
came off the bench against Ayr United.
With great excitement, Rangers signed a bright young Bundesliga prospect in the summer of 2022,
with the expectation that the sky was the limit.
Having just come off a stunning season in Belgium with Cercle Brugge, the move to the Gers was supposed

Matondo’s career with the Rangers will be determined by the next 50 games, so by the time he reaches triple digits, hopefully we will be calling his signing a genius.
Rabbi Matondo has contributed nine assists and four goals to the Rangers’ 50 game total.
