As It seems to be a close race until the
end of the season, and Celtic should have
enough to defeat the most of the other
teams in the area.
But for the next three months or so, we’ll
just be keeping these remarks to
ourselves as Daizen Maeda becomes the
most recent Celtic star to defy fate.
Rangers are quietly becoming more
confident, but something tells us that the
hype surrounding Celtic may yet hit
them in the tail towards the end of the
campaign.
Scottish Premiership title, Daizen Maeda
is the most recent to state that Parkhead
will receive the trophy.

This season, Gers supporters have grown
accustomed to their Old Firm rivals
talking the talk before doing the deed,
and the most recent remarks will be
added to a number of bookmarks.
Apart from the League Cup that Rangers
have already won, nothing is given out in
February, and there is still a ton of
football to be played.
However, Daizen Maeda believes that
Celtic will be too strong for the Ibrox side
come playoff time, even though he
appreciates Rangers’ challenge.
“We will be champions eventually,” says
Daizen Maeda.
Speaking after arriving back in Parkhead
following the Asian Cup, the 26-year-old
forward with 16 caps was feeling
assured.
Again, these remarks seem to undervalue
the development Rangers is making,
claiming that Celtic have the better team
of the two.
It’s challenging because there isn’t much
of a difference between Rangers and us
these days, Maeda added. “But if we can
pull through this difficult time with
results, our confidence will grow, and in
the end, we’ll be champions.”
“Is our team better than the Rangers’?
Yes, as you can see from the table, we are
currently in front of them. We seem like
a more formidable team.
But we can’t sit back and assume that we
can win if we don’t put in any effort. We
must never lose sight of the fact that,
whether facing the Rangers or any other
team, we are the underdog.
Rangers welcome Celtic arrogance.
After the contentious Old Firm loss in
December, Rangers supporters had
already saved haughty remarks made by
Brendan Rodgers and Callum McGregor
to their bookmarks.
Tensions are running high at Parkhead
with the Celtic captain and Parkhead
boss already retreating with Rangers
narrowing a seven-point deficit to just 0.
Rangers is aware that, in a Premiership
setting, nothing can be won as it stands,
and Philippe Clement is totally
committed to giving the team his all
every week.
