spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about his condition.

“This was most certainly a Grade 3 hamstring rupture,

given that he had been out since October and had only recently returned to the B Team.

“Now that he’s back with the B team,

his timeframe will be determined by how he responds to those sessions before moving on to first-team training.

“It would feel more like weeks than days.

“B team intensity will obviously be lesser so the club can gauge if he’s at that level before introducing him back to the first team via bounce matches.”

Lovelace interested in returning to the Rangers first team?
The Englishman was scheduled to resume training in December,

but it took him more than a month to play another game.

The adolescent is extremely talented, and it remains to be seen how Philippe Clement intends to reintegrate him into the first team.

Derek Ferguson has also been impressed by what he’s seen from the 18-year-old, and if he wants to commit his future to the club, he’ll need to play consistently.

In other Rangers news, never-before-seen footage has emerged,

revealing what the Ibrox crowd did to Oscar Cortes v Livingston.

“If he doesn’t do that, he’ll feel the pressure.

He’ll need to be ready for that.

They’re still in contention for the championship, but that’s it.

“It’s a long way back, but it can be recovered.

With substantial improvements. Anything less means it’s gone.”
