Rangers has played one fewer game than its Old Firm opponents and is currently only three points behind Celtic in

the league standings.

Since taking over the team in October, Philippe Clement has turned around Rangers’ fortunes, and the team is currently enjoying success.

Insisting that Clement is able to rotate his players without sacrificing the caliber of the team’s performance—

something Celtic is not doing at this point in the season—former Scotland defender Wilson emphasized that the

reason for Rangers’ optimism is that even the squad players and the new signings are having an impact.

On Clyde 1’s Super scoreboard, the former defender stated: “I believe that Rangers are the reason for the great

optimism that has been there since the team returned from the break.”

“You see competition for spots and rotation within there when you look at the games they have played and the team selection made by Philippe Clement.”

“You get a similar result when Clement rotates from the St. Mirren team last week to the team today. “With regard to

Celtic, that is not currently true.
“There are players coming on from the bench or covering for injuries, but they are not contributing.

“But the Rangers team is performing, and even the new players are chipping in.”

Rangers might lead the Scottish Premiership rankings if they defeat Aberdeen on Tuesday night.
