NFL fans will always remember the Dallas Cowboys of 2023 for their poor season and humiliating first-round playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.
The Cowboys finished with a 12-2 record, a stellar year from wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, and outstanding defensive stats,
but they were destroyed 48-32 at home on Super Wild Card Weekend.
Quarterback Dak Prescott, who finished the regular season with MVP-caliber stats but threw two game-ending interceptions in the postseason, is mostly to blame.
Troy Aikman, a former Cowboys great and Super Bowl winner, nevertheless, continues to think that Prescott can lead the team back to the promised land.

When asked about current signal-caller Dak Prescott being the quarterback solution for his previous team, Aikman responded, “That makes for a long year.”
Throughout his 12-year NFL career, Aikman was a member of the Dallas Cowboys, where he was nominated to six Pro Bowls and won three Super Bowls.
Aikman, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, currently serves as a colour analyst in the NFL.
Aikman continued, “I still believe in Dak. I think until you do it, there will always be those criticisms.
I know Peyton Manning went through that.”
Aikman likens Prescott to Peyton Manning, the four-time NFL MVP.
The seven-time All-Pro only made it to the Super Bowl in his age-30 season after losing his first three postseason games.
In July, Prescott will celebrate his 31st birthday.

They should have more opportunities in front of them.
Dak Prescott: Career Year in 2023
Prescott had an amazing 2023 season in spite of a poor postseason performance.
He completed 70% of his throws, threw for 4,516 yards, and led the NFL with 36 passing touchdowns.
He ran for two more touchdowns and only threw nine interceptions.
The only signal-callers to rank in the top five in passing yards and touchdowns were Prescott, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, and Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions.
