The Danish team FC Nordsjaelland has accepted the Gers’ over £5 million proposal to bring the midfield player

to Ibrox this month.

He was expected to arrive at Glasgow Airport on Monday night before heading to the club to undergo medical tests,

but his flight was delayed due to Storm Isha.

His relocation is anticipated to be finished within the next 48 hours, and it is thought that the transaction is not in peril.

He will be Philippe Clement’s second January addition after Wolves star Fabio Silva was signed to a loan earlier this month.

This season, Diomande has made 21 appearances for the Danish top team in all competitions and has five assists.

The 22-year-old moved to Nordsjaelland in 2020 through Ghana’s Right To Dream Academy system but is now expected to

move to his second-ever senior club.

He has made 111 appearances for Nordsjaelland in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists.

The central midfielder has earned rave reviews for his performances domestically and in the Europa

Conference League this season.

Rangers are expected to be busy this month and are looking to offload further players to finance further recruitment.

They will sell Ridvan Yilmaz this month if they receive an offer of between £3 and $4 million,

as reported by Football Insider

on January 20. The money will go towards funding a transfer for a new left-back.

Additionally, sources told Football Insider on January 16 that negotiations are underway

to add a second forward this month.

Rangers advanced to the fifth round of the Scottish Cup after their 4-1 win against

Dumbarton on Saturday (20 January).

They are next in action in the league against Hibernian at Easter Road onWednesday evening (24 January).
