The turbulent offseason for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs has seen two of their players jailed. Wanya Morris and Chukwuebuka Godrick, two Kansas City Chiefs players, were taken into custody on Thursday night for small-scale marijuana possession. According to court records, the offensive linemen were both arrested at the Johnson County Adult Detention Center on Friday morning at roughly two in the morning. They appeared on camera before a Johnson County judge in the afternoon, after which they each posted a $2,500 bond and were sent free just after 4 p.m. They now have a May 23 court appearance scheduled. The team acknowledged the claims, a representative for the group told KSHB-41, but they would not speak further.
