£35M Wolves player wants Molineux exit as he will do ‘everything’ to make Rangers transfer reality
£35M Wolves player wants Molineux exit as he will do ‘everything’ to make Rangers transfer reality
According to Fabio Silva, he will use every effort to finalize his permanent transfer from Wolves to Rangers.
After making an impression away at Benfica in midweek, the loan player scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0
victory over Hibs in the Scottish Cup quarterfinal. He joined the team in January
and stayed until the end of the season.
Wolves initially splashed £35m on Silva in 2019 after potential displayed at Porto but he has been unable to find a
consistent tun of Molineux. Now speaking to the BBC, Silva has confirmed
he is keen to be at Rangers for the long haul.
“I don’t control these things 100%,” he remarked. Staying is not entirely my choice; if it were, I may say yes.
However, I could answer “yes,” in which case you would still have a lot of work to do.
“Maybe I have the least say in whether or not I stay here, but we have two months to enjoy the game and win titles. If
all goes well and we win trophies after that, I believe Rangers and I will make every effort to keep me here.
“Everything seems to be going well when you see me playing with a smile on my face. I want to play here for the
support of my teammates, the staff, and the spectators. Being here is a delight. It’s really enjoyable for me. They’re
providing me with the happiness I’ve been seeking to reclaim.
“We still have a long way to go on this trip. To be prepared to perform as we wish to be in every tournament,
everyone must adopt a different mindset. In the changing room after the match against Benfica, we all had a
conversation. We made an effort to convey to everyone that this goal must be pursued
in all tournaments, not only the Europa League.”
