On Monday, March 11, Callum Olusesi, a sensation from Tottenham, signed a professional deal with the team, sources revealed Football Insider.

The 17-year-old midfielder, who graduated from Spurs’ development academy, signed a contract with the team.

Olusesi signed a scholarship deal to play full-time for Tottenham in July 2023, and he has since impressed at the Under-18 level to further his development.

 

He is viewed by Spurs club executives as a “star in the making,” a reliable source informed Football Insider.

Olusesi, a Tottenham prodigy who turned 17 today, signs a new contract

Olusesi has made 18 appearances in all competitions so far in 2023–24, scoring four assists and eight goals.

The London-born star competed in the FA Youth Cup and Under-18 Premier League, although Spurs lost to Man City in the competition’s quarterfinal.

Since making his debut in September 2023, 2007-born Olusesi has also established himself as a regular for England at the Under-17 level, tallying two goals in seven appearances.

Though his primary position is central midfielder, he can excel as a center-forward and in more attacking midfield roles as well.

Following his graduation from the club’s youth divisions, Olusesi may play senior football for Tottenham alongside players like Oliver Skipp, Alfie Whiteman, and Brandon Austin.

In the Premier League’s Southern division, Spurs’ Under-18 team is currently ranked third, after Chelsea and West Ham.
