Fabio Silva: The Wolves attacker on loan is “loving” his time at Rangers and is willing to stay longer

If it were entirely up to him, Fabio Silva would be pleased to formalize a longer-term move to Rangers.

Since joining Rangers in January, the 21-year-old attacker on loan from Wolves has made 13 appearances and scored four goals.

The Portuguese player was loaned out to Anderlecht and PSV Eindhoven before joining

Wolves for a reputed £35 million in 2020 from Porto.

He remarked, “I’m loving being here,” following his second goal of the game

as Rangers defeated Hibernian 2-0 in the Scottish Cup.

“These are not entirely within my control. Staying is not entirely my choice;

if it were, I may say yes. However, I could answer “yes,” in which case you would still have a lot of work to do.

“Perhaps I have the least input into whether I stay here but we have two months to enjoy the football,

to win titles and I think after that, if we win trophies and everything goes well,

Rangers and I will do everything for me to stay.

“I consider everything to be going well when you see me smiling while I play.

I want to play here for the support of my teammates,

the staff, and the fans.”Being here is a delight. I like

Silva, who played a portion of his childhood career for the Lisbon team,

brought up Rangers’ second goal in their 2-2 draw with Benfica in Thursday’s Europa last 16 first leg.
Thursday at 17:45 GMT at Ibrox is the second leg.
“Winning is a significant step in the competition. You’ve made it to the final eight,” Silva continued.
For all Rangers, this is a significant milestone. Everyone wants to be on this platform,
