Celtic fans on their way to Celtic Park this afternoon were taken aback by the news that Cameron Carter-Vickers is
not in the Hoops’ Scottish Cup quarter-final squad.
The bhoys are trying to defend their trophy, and a win over Livingston will secure a semi-final spot at Hampden Park.
Following Brendan Rodgers’ press conference on Friday and the images from Lennoxtown, there was no indication
that CCV, Celtic’s greatest defender, would be out for this game.
However, the team sheet is up, and the American international is nowhere to be found.
We are now awaiting Brendan’s explanation as to why our vice captain is out, and fingers crossed it is not for long.
Celtic are already without Callum McGregor, and CCV’s absence causes concern among many supporters.
