Newcastle is expected to reveal a new hire in the upcoming weeks.
Lewis Hall, an English defender who has had difficulty breaking into the first squad, is supposedly on the verge of becoming a permanent fixture at Newcastle.
After making nine Premier League games the previous season and making an impression, the 19-year-old joined the Magpies on loan from Chelsea at the beginning of the season.

Hall is regarded as one of the top young players in English football, and Eddie Howe’s team will greatly benefit from his versatility.
Included in his loan deal was an option to buy, with the Blues valuing the player at £30 million and according to reports from Fabrizio Romano, its a ‘matter of time’ before a deal is confirmed.
With players like Kieran Trippier, Tino Livramento, Dan Burn, and now Hall who can play on both sides, it is evident that Howe favors versatility in his full-backs.
Chelsea may be able to pursue one of their primary targets in the summer if Hall’s sale occurs, as the club is rumored to be constrained by Financial Fair Play regulations.
