Everton: Concern over the Premier League’s second point deduction is already apparent.

Everton will be afraid, according to Dan Plumley, that the Premier League would deduct the four points that were awarded to them during their second PSR charge hearing.

The Toffees’ 10-point deduction from the Premier League was later lowered to six for their first rule violation at Goodison Park.

It would be interesting to watch if the Premier League’s initial decision sets a precedent,

as the football finance expert acknowledged.

He revealed exclusively to Goodison News, “I think it’s a fear.”

“This was something that we could all have predicted because it was always present in the background as we awaited the initial decision and the appeal. We are not quite sure if we are asking,

“Does that constitute a good benchmark now?'”

“If you look at the breach, which resulted in a six-point deduction and was, I believe, £19.5 million, does that allow you some leeway to say, if your breach is x million, that equals x points?

We haven’t been there, but maybe we ought to have. In that case, what is the next breach worth? What is Everton’s background story?

“Although we now have an answer, there are still many unanswered issues regarding the next few cases, and I’m sure Nottingham Forest will be asking similar questions as well.

As for benchmarks, you’re looking at a six-point deduction for a £19.5 million breach, so naturally,

even if you didn’t want to set a benchmark, you have set some kind of benchmark and that will be interesting to look at.

We have now seen a points deduction that has gone through the Premier League and gone through an independent commission.

Will Everton lose points in the Premier League again?

Even though no new information has surfaced to back his assertion that a further six-point deduction is “Very likely,” Kaveh Solhekol has already made that suggestion.

Given that the Premier League was closely collaborating with Everton throughout this time, albeit apparently with limited success, one can only hope that they exercise common sense.
