After joining Rangers in July 2022, the former Millwall sensation was expected to break through the academy and into the main team.

The next away match against St Mirren saw Zak Lovelace start for the Rangers for the first time after an impressive showing that convinced Hall of Famer and interim manager Steven Davis to do so.

However, Lovelace’s 41-minute optimistic run came to an end. He was obviously very upset by the scenario after being dragged away from Paisley hurt on a stretcher.

Although that was in October, Lovelace has spent the last month or so diligently working on his recuperation and returning to the grass.

Tragically for the young player, though, The Rangers Review claims that he will have to spend extra time in the rehab facility following a hamstring injury he sustained during a Rangers B friendly versus Royal Antwerp.
