Rangers injury news:Rangers player could be out for two months at Ibrox in new update
Chris Jack reports that Rangers forward Zak Lovelace would be sidelined for up to two months due to a damaged hamstring.
on the Rangers Review website on March 9.
He was originally replaced during the game as a precaution, but a scan later on indicated the severity of the injury, thus he will now be
sidelined for some time.
The curse of Rangers injuries persists.
The curse of Ibrox doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon, as evidenced by yet another Rangers attack injury this season.
To the surprise of Ally McCoist, Ross McCausland just escaped significant injury; nevertheless, Oscar Cortes will be out for two
months, while Abdallah Sima, Todd Cantwell, Kieran Dowell, Rabbi Matondo, and Danilo will all be out for a short spell.
That has led to Philippe Clement being forced to play Dujon Sterling and Fabio Silva out of position in the wide areas, but the team has
continued to perform well and get results.
It was possibly an opportunity for young players to come into the side and get minutes too, with the likes of Cole McKinnon getting an
appearance from the bench in the 2-2 draw with Benfica.
But if there is to be another attacking opportunity such as the one that saw McCausland get his chance, Lovelace now won’t be
available after this latest blow.
