Official Uefa documents from the 2023-24 season show that every club that advanced to the group stage was guaranteed a £14 million bonus.

Additional payments from the UK broadcasting market pool and coefficient payments will boost that total, and prize money is projected to rise even higher next season under the new arrangement.

Furthermore, hosting Champions League matches would result in dramatically enhanced matchday revenue for Rangers, particularly through corporate hospitality.

According to Football Insider, qualification would allow Rangers to spend about £20 million more on transfers this summer.

It would provide additional funds for Clement to invest in his first summer transfer window as Rangers manager.
