Celtic transfer news

The Hoops, who are now behind Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title battle, will be hoping for a successful summer in the transfer

market after a season that hasn’t always gone as planned under Brendan Rodgers.

Kieran Tierney’s homecoming at the end of the season is one intriguing rumor that has surfaced; the Scot’s tenure at Arsenal is

become progressively less enjoyable. Although he is currently on loan at Real Sociedad, he could welcome the opportunity to complete

a reunion at Parkhead and find a long-term new residence.

Meanwhile, current Celtic loanee Adam Idah could make a permanent move to the club in the summer transfer window, having

enjoyed such a positive impact since joining in January, scoring five goals in six league appearances.

Caoimhin Kelleher of Liverpool, an Irish goalkeeper who has been linked to the Hoops, may be another big addition. Kelleher may

look to be a No. 1 away from Anfield this summer. Although he has played exceptionally well without Alisson, the Brazilian is perhaps

the best player in the world at his position and will undoubtedly replace his teammate when he returns.

Celtic eyeing exciting double swoop

Celtic hopes to finalize the double signing of Matthias Seidl and Leopold Querfeld, both of whom are presently players for Rapid

Vienna, according to a recent HITC report. But Crystal Palace, a Premier League team, will present fierce competition for the Hoops,

with new manager Oliver Glasner reportedly “interested” in acquiring them.

“Fulham, Burnley, Wolves, and Leicester have also watched both players in action,” the article continues. Even though Querfeld and

Seidl aren’t as well-known as players like Tierney and Kelleher, for example,

they might be wise signings for Celtic in the summer.

The former is a towering 6 foot 3 defender who has made 20 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga this season, and he has won a

total of 20 caps for Austria as youth level, still awaiting his maiden outing in the senior setup.

Seidl, who is 23 years old and has five goals this season in the league, is a little more experienced than his 20-year-old teammate. His

finishing touch comes from the middle of the park. He might provide Rodgers’ midfield more skill and depth because,

unlike his colleague, he has three caps for Austria’s senior team.
