Report: Broncos Bring Back WR on New Deal

Two exclusive-rights free agents were available to the Denver Broncos going into the offseason. Both of them have contracts currently.

Wide receiver Michael Bandy was re-signed by the Broncos in January to a one-year tender worth a non-guaranteed $915,000 for the

2024 season, according to Over The Cap’s Jason Fitzgerald (via The Denver Gazette).

an ERFA, signed a one-year contract worth $985,000 with Denver last month. Because of Griffith’s

NFL experience, the agreement was somewhat higher. After playing for the Los Angeles Chargers and the Houston Roughnecks of the

then-XFL, Bandy, 26, signed with the Broncos in July 2023. The majority of the season was spent by the former undrafted free agent

on Denver’s practice squad; he made one appearance but was not included in the stat sheet.

Bandy has completed 270 total snaps in his career, catching 10 receptions for 89 scoreless yards and adding four punt returns for 88

yards.

He’s one of the few well-known players returning to Denver’s wide receiver group, which could see significant changes in the coming

weeks. Starting pitchers Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy soon “could be on their way out,” according to an uStadium report on
