According to a report, Reo Hatate is “close to a return.”

The top writer at the Daily Record does not provide a timeline, but that statement implies that the midfield player should return to action this month.

Hatate has only started four SPFL games this season and has made four additional appearances off the bench due to three muscle-related injuries he has sustained this season.

Hatate made a brief cameo away at St Mirren on January 2 after collapsing early in Celtic’s Champions League match against Atletico Madrid at home, although he returned from the Asian Cup early due to injuries to both calves.
