DONE DEAL: Borussia Dortmund signs Jobe Bellingham on a club record fee
Jobe Bellingham will become Borussia Dortmund’s second-most expensive signing, excluding
add-ons, and Sunderland will have paid the highest transfer fee ever for a player.

For Jobe Bellingham to join Borussia Dortmund, Sunderland has agreed to pay a club-record
€33 million (£27.8 million) plus €5 million (£4.2 million).
The deal will be the largest transfer price Sunderland has ever received and also has a 15% sell-on
clause.
Bellingham will become the second-most expensive signing in Borussia Dortmund’s history,
excluding add-ons.
After eight years away from the top division, Bellingham, whose older brother Jude played for the Bundesliga team for three seasons, assisted Sunderland in winning promotion back to the Premier League in the Championship play-off final.
Jobe, like his brother Jude, was a product of Birmingham’s academy and played in the first team for
two years after making his debut in 2021 at the age of 16.
