Celtic Complete £1.4m Plus Add-Ons Signing of Blackburn Rovers Right-Back on Five-Year Deal

Glasgow, June 5, 2025 — Celtic have confirmed the signing of Blackburn Rovers right-back Callum Hart in a deal worth £1.4 million plus add-ons.

The 23-year-old defender has signed a five-year contract that will keep him at Celtic Park until the summer of 2030.

The deal includes a series of performance-related bonuses and clauses tied to domestic success and European qualification,

potentially pushing the total value of the transfer closer to £2 million.

Hart, known for his pace, stamina, and ability to deliver from wide areas,

made 42 appearances in all competitions for Blackburn last season and was one of their standout performers in the Championship.

His consistent displays earned him a place on Celtic’s radar as the Scottish giants looked to strengthen their options at right-back.
