AS Roma is interested in Sunderland captain Dan Neil as Jobe Bellingham’s move is imminent.
According to a report by The Sun, AS Roma is interested in Sunderland captain Dan Neil, with a potential deal valued at £15 million.

Sunderland are ascending to the Premier League following a dramatic play-off triumph. After an
eight-year absence, SAFC returns to the top division and will be keen to secure a long-term
presence there.
Having moved up from the Championship, the Black Cats should be in a good position to retain
most of their key players. However, given the abundance of talent on their roster, significant
interest
is likely unavoidable.
While it seems that Jobe Bellingham is the most probable to depart, captain Dan Neil could also be
taken from Wearside if the Italian powerhouses AS Roma get their wish.
The Sun reports that the Serie A giants are eager to finalize a deal for Sunderland star Neil.
The 23-year-old knows that Roma is interested in him. Reports suggest that an agreement could
be reached at £15m, but it is still uncertain if the player is open to the transfer.
While SAFC will undoubtedly want to retain their promotion-winning captain, the fact that his
contract expires in the summer of 2026 makes them more vulnerable to a sale of Neil than other
players who are on long-term contracts.
