Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers looking to snatch key player from Leicester City
Leicester City got relegated from the Premier League last season, and some of their best legs, including Ndidi could leave
Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, is being pursued by Leicester City on behalf of the new Celtics coach Brendan Rodgers, according to Soccernet.ng.
The previous season, they had three different managers. After Rodgers was fired in April,
interim managers Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler oversaw two games before Dean Smith took over for the final eight games of the season.
Ndidi, a midfielder for the Super Eagles,
had an unremarkable season due to constant injuries.
Eleven of the defensive midfielder’s 27 Premier League appearances for the Foxes came from the bench. He is 26 years old.
