Celtic facing competition from scottish league rival for Ajax star

The Norwich City forward is eager to move permanently to Parkhead this summer,

according to Football Insider.Idah is currently on loan at the Scottish powerhouse,

where his significant performances for Brendan Rodgers’ team have quickly made him a fan favorite.

Since joining the team in the January transfer window,MixCollage-09-Feb-2024-03-12-PM-7932

Idah has scored four goals in four games (all stats from Fbref),

including match-winning braces against Motherwell and Hibernian,

which have allowed the team to overcome 1-0 deficits in both instances.

The Ireland international is reportedly very interested in the possibility of competing in the Champions League.

Despite playing in 24 less games this season,

the 23-year-old is already very close to matching his goal total from his time in Scotland.

Prior to his departure, he scored six goals in 28 games in the Championship.

In the agreement to recruit Idah on a temporary basis, Celtic did not include an option to buy,

and it is unclear if the team would be open to pursuing a permanent agreement.

Idah, though, would welcome the chance to remain with the Scottish Premiership team after this current year.

In his four league games, he has started two of them,

and he is rapidly winning over fans who were first dubious about his presence.

Adam Idah value transfer
If Norwich decides to offload Idah this summer,

he may be available for as little as £3 million, according to reports.

After advancing through the Norwich Academy’s ranks, Idah was acknowledged as an Ireland international.

Although he has a contract with the club until the summer of 2028, his time at Carrow Road could expire in 2024.

If he keeps up his outstanding goal-scoring performance,

it might affect his transfer value or possibly persuade the Canaries that it would be better to hold onto the striker rather than trade him.
