Celtic 22-yr-old ‘won’t play for the club ever again’ after source’s reveal today – expert

As the team is ready to consider offers for him this summer, Celtic striker Liel Abada will not play for the team again.

Frank McAvennie, a former striker for West Ham and the Hoops, revealed exclusively to Football Insider that he felt bad for the Israel

international because of his difficulties off the pitch related to the current Middle East turmoil.

Abada is not in the “right frame of mind to play,” according to manager Brendan Rodgers, but he is still

taking part in first team practice.

Since making a substitute appearance against Hibernian on February 2, the former PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year has not

been included in the team and has been linked to a move from Parkhead to the Major League Soccer.

According to the most recent information from Pete O’Rourke, senior correspondent at Football Insider,

Celtic would consider bids for Abada come summer, when it is expected that he will depart the team.

Celtic star Liel Abada has no future at the club but would be a starter of he got the “noise out of his head”

If the 22-year-old could “get all the noise out of his head,” McAvennie was certain he would start,

but he could not see him playing for the Hoops again.

“To put it simply, I don’t think he can go back at this point.

“Although I would really like to see the boy, I don’t have time for individuals who want to involve politics in football.”

“The world has gone insane; there is no place for it.

“You attend sporting events to escape from that.

“I feel horrible for Abada since not everyone is in favor of him—some people adore him.

“The youngster must be having difficulty.

Given that they will be speaking, I believe Brendan is the ideal person to have there.

“He will be aware of Abada’s playing status.”

In other reports, Celtic revealed that the full cost of a permanent move for the player will be “big money.”
