according to manager Brendan Rodgers, but he is still taking part in first team practice.

Since making a substitute appearance against Hibernian on February 2,

the former PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year has not been included in the team and has been linked to a move from Parkhead to the Major League Soccer.

According to the most recent information from Pete O’Rourke,

senior correspondent at Football Insider, Celtic would consider bids for Abada come summer,

If the 22-year-old could “get all the noise out of his head,”

McAvennie was certain he would start, but he could not see him playing for the Hoops again.

He said to Football Insider, “I’d put Abada in the team if he was there.”

He should play if I could have faith in him to go outside and clear his mind of all the noise.

“To put it simply, I don’t think he can go back at this point.

“Although I would really like to see the boy,

I don’t have time for individuals who want to involve politics in football.”

“The world has gone insane; there is no place for it.

“You attend sporting events to escape from that.

“I feel horrible for Abada since not everyone is in favor of him—some people adore him.

“The youngster must be having difficulty.

Given that they will be speaking, I believe Brendan is the ideal person to have there.

“He will be aware of Abada’s playing status.”
