Liverpool has informed Crystal Palace that they will accept a low-cost bid for Marc Guehi.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool could sign Crystal Palace striker Marc Guehi

this summer for a cut-price deal of £50-60 million.

Last summer (2024), the Eagles battled off interest from Newcastle, with Eddie Howe’s side

rejecting up to four bids for the centre-back. Palace reportedly wanted roughly £75-80 million

for their captain at the time, but Guehi will have only 12 months left on his contract at Selhurst Park in June.

As it stands, the 24-year-old may negotiate a free transfer from Croydon to a foreign team in January 2026.

Palace will be compelled to cut their assessment of Guehi during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

Liverpool might get Guehi for £50-60 million.
On Monday (17 March), Football Insider stated that Newcastle, Tottenham, and Chelsea will all be vying

for the defender’s signing, although Liverpool are in pole position.

The Crystal Palace skipper has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season.

Liverpool are looking for centre-back reinforcements amid uncertainty over the futures of Virgil van Dijk

and Ibrahima Konate, who are out of contract in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

Konate’s Liverpool future is in doubt.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool have failed to reach an agreement with Konate, 25, on a new contract,

despite continued talks.

Liverpool began contract talks with Konate in October, and while they are still eager to lock him down,

no progress has been achieved.

The France international has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season, starting 31 of them.
