A Reading FC player on the playoffs and a move to Nottingham Forest
The young defender, who continues to improve at such a young age, went to the City Ground in February but is still on loan with the Royals through the summer.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s Forest is vying for the Champions League.
Bindon maintains that he wants to leave on a strong note and lead the team back to the Championship even if he knows he won’t be in Berkshire until the summer. The New Zealand international stated, “I want to give as much as I can back to the club because Reading has given me so much.”
The Royals, without a game until March 29, sit outside the play-offs by just two points and have nine matches remaining.
Unbeaten in 10 fixtures, the club are on their best run for over a decade, since Noel Hunt was up front for Brian McDermott’s Championship-winning team in 2012.
Sat comfortably in the top 10, Bindon insists the play-offs are now the ambition.
“I think that’s our goal, I think it has to be. What else is there to play for? We can only push for play-offs now and keep going.”
