BREAKING NEWS: Rangers are rioting at Celtic Park in the early hours of this morning.
Before the derby match this afternoon, Rangers fans were led inside Celtic Park.
Before 11 a.m. this morning, the fortunate Ibrox fans who had away end tickets were escorted into the stadium, with police making sure they had a secure entry.
In order to be escorted securely inside the stadium, Rangers fans were asked to gather close to the ground hours before kickoff.
Rangers fans are already crammed into Celtic Park’s away section, resounding their songs around the otherwise deserted stadium.
Social media footage captures Rangers fans singing in the Celtic Park corner before the turnstiles open for home fans in the away section.
“Supporters must arrive no later than 10:30, as those arriving after this time may face delays and risk missing kick-off,” stated a caution posted by Rangers fans prior to the game.
“We recognize that fans may find this early arrival time inconvenient, and we sympathize with their frustration.
“The club requested a later time, but we have been informed that this is not feasible for safety reasons. Supporters can contribute to a safe and easy entry procedure by showing up at the appointed hour.
Depending on Police Scotland’s safety choices, Rangers supporters might also be kept in the stadium for about twenty-five minutes following the game.
Additionally, a Rangers statement stated: “A post-match holdback of roughly 25 minutes is possible. Police Scotland will make a dynamic decision on this during the game.
