Milan Aleksic Sunderland’s thrilling prediction by Regis Le Bris
Milan Aleksic’s situation at Sunderland will “click” soon, according to REGIS Le Bris.
Last summer, the Black Cats were thrilled to sign the young midfield player, who was highly regarded in his own country after being called up to the full Serbian squad just before joining Sunderland.
Aleksic has only made four Championship appearances and one start in his first full season on Wearside, so he has had to exercise patience.
However, Le Bris has always thought it would be wise to give Aleksic some time, and he thinks the 19-year-old will gain a great deal from the “foundations” he has made both on and off the field during his first season in England.
The head coach of Sunderland stated, “Milan is a really young player, talented with many young skills.”
“This year, in my opinion, is crucial for him to establish a connection with the club, the nation, and culture. Players occasionally require time. This phase of adaptation and interaction is what we have witnessed thus far. It will click eventually. He’s laying the groundwork, and we’ll see what comes next.”
Aleksic doesn’t need to search far for evidence of the significance of a settling-in period.
Eliezer Mayenda was a bit player in his first season at the club, starting just one Championship match before joining Hibs on loan in January, when he likewise barely played.
However, Mayenda has made a name for himself in Le Bris’ team this season, playing in 29 of Sunderland’s 37 Championship games.
Le Bris remarked, “Eli is a really good example,”
