Coleman’s destiny becomes more apparent, and a deal with Harry Darling is proposed.
Following yesterday’s announcement that Andrew Coleman will be stepping down as Swansea City’s chairman,
it appears that a number of issues still need to be resolved.
If nothing more, it seemed somewhat coincidence that the official announcement of his departure
was made just four hours after our initial report. Since Monday, we have been aware of this choice
(or whatever reason Coleman is leaving his job), but we decided to wait until yesterday afternoon
to make any announcement after communicating with the club directly.
A few hours later, the major media strangely followed.
The days of civility and honesty are over.
Check out our breaking news report from yesterday ♽️ the drama involving Coleman.
According to what we have been told, Andrew Coleman will serve out his remaining years as
Chairman of Swansea in a caretaker capacity while a replacement is chosen, either inside or externally.
Except for Martin Morgan, none of the board members have any prior experience in a position akin to that of a football club chairman. A
His term must undoubtedly be coming to an end as well, so we can only assume that he
will leave at some point in the very near future. His time at Swansea City is obviously over,
therefore we won’t be addressing the question.
Though, as we all know, you can have all the money in the world, profit and sustainability will
always hold you back, the current board has a wide financial reach. Once the numbers for the previous
season and year are known, that question will either be answered or at least somewhat clarified.
Naturally, those in high places at the club are already aware of those figures.
