Three Denver Broncos players the Chiefs need to focus on.
With a six-game winning streak under their belt, the Kansas City Chiefs are on a roll and will want to extend it to seven games against
the Denver Broncos, their division opponent.
The Chiefs have crushed the Broncos in recent years; they haven’t lost to them in sixteen games, dating back to Week 2 of the 2015
campaign. Kansas City will tie for the second-longest winning streak against a single opponent if they win this game. The 49ers are
currently ahead of the Rams in second place; from 1990 to 1998, the 49ers defeated the Rams 17 times in a row. The Miami Dolphins
now own the record after defeating the Buffalo Bills 20 times in a row from 1970 to 1979.Behaving as a divisional opponent is rarely
simple. The Chiefs must accomplish the following three goals in order to win this game and move to 7-1:
1. Make Rashee Rice the main attraction
Every week it seems more and more clear that Rashee Rice, a rookie, is the Chiefs’ top wide receiver. In the passing game, Marquez
Valdes-Scantling, Justin Watson, and Mecole Hardman are not really game-changers, while Skyy Moore, Justyn Ross, and Kadarius
Toney are utterly unproven.
Rashee Rice has been getting better every week, and the last two weeks have seen him have two of his most productive performances.
Despite playing fewer snaps than Justin Watson, MVS, and Skyy Moore, he leads the club in receptions, yards, and touchdowns
among wide receivers.
He must eventually see an increased workload, and this week’s game against Denver would be a great chance to do so. The majority of
Rice’s receiving photos wereTo defeat the Broncos for the second time in three weeks, the Chiefs don’t need Rashee Rice to have a
great game, but it’s still a good idea to increase his target share against a subpar defense. Even though he’s a rookie, Andy Reid should
feel free to give him more snaps because he’s their greatest wide receiver.
