Crystal Palace have begun talks with manager Oliver Glasner about extending his contract with the club.

The talks are believed to be in their early stages, with the Austrian’s present contract expiring at the end of next season. Glasner just marked his year anniversary in command of Palace, who are presently 11th in the Premier League and have advanced to this season’s FA Cup quarterfinals, where they will meet Fulham on March 29, as well as the Carabao Cup last eight.

Bayern Munich expressed interest in him last season after Palace won six of their final seven league games to finish in the top half of the table. The Eagles are on another roll, having won 10 of their last 13 games in all competitions and losing only once. Only Liverpool (25) has earned more Premier League points in 2025 than Palace (19).

Early negotiations with the club’s hierarchy have begun about next season’s plans, and they hope to build on the improvements established under Glasner, who joined following a two-year stint at Eintracht Frankfurt. Palace are now on a mid-season holiday in Marbella before facing Fulham at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup at the end of the month.
