EFL boss pinpoints four players John Eustace is looking at to help save Derby County
Jon Brady believes Derby County have a quartet that can score the goals which can ignite their bid for Championship survival.
After Hull City’s win over Plymouth Argyle last night, Derby are seven point.
Derby need to hit promotion form if they are to have a chance of staying up which includes sharpening their instincts in front of goal.
A 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough last weekend meant Derby have hit two goals in their last 10 games which has been a root cause of their demise.
But former Northampton boss Brady, now an EFL pundit, believes they do carry the players who can find the net.
“You look at their frontline with Yates, Jackson, Harness, Barkhuizen, they are players who can get you goals”, Brady said on EFL All Access.
“He (John Eustace) will be looking at them because he needs to try and get goals because it is not enough to try and stay in games, they have got to try and create more.
“Their efficiency in the final third, they have got to try and work on that and he will know that.
“He will know that they have not scored enough with the players they have got and those players can score goals in the Championship.
“It is about trying to get that [new manager] bounce.
“He has not had that bounce at the moment, but hopefully [he gets it] in the coming games.”
