Breaking News:Former Rangers Star Predicts Gers’ New Recruits
Former Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday believes the club’s January signings will help them win the Scottish Premiership this season.
Rangers lead the Scottish Premiership by two points after defeating in-form Hearts 5-0 at home on Saturday.
The Glasgow giants strengthened their roster by signing Fabio Silva, Oscar Cortes, and Mohamed Diomande during the winter transfer window.
All three players scored in Saturday’s triumph over Hearts, and the trio has had a significant impact on improving the squad’s overall quality
Halliday feels that the work Rangers did in January will be the reason they win the league over Celtic at the conclusion of the season.
He stated that the quality of Rangers’ recruiting was evident against Hearts, and all three new players had been a revelation in the team.
Halliday stated on Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard: “I believe that Rangers’ three January signings could make the difference in where the title is going.
“I believe we saw that in full force on Saturday against Hearts.
And Fabio Silva and Dessers appear to be playing the ham and egg game brilliantly, with one coming in and scoring a goal, getting rested for the following game, and the other coming in and scoring a goal as well.”
“The inclusion of Diomande and Cortes in the starting eleven has been a revelation for the group.
Philippe Clement will need his squad to perform well because Rangers are still in contention in three competitions this season.
