Ibrox Latest: The 3 Rangers transfer deals creating major Ibrox buzz as ‘huge thing’ sparks exciting realisation
In Saturday’s 5-0 thumping of Hearts, Mohamed Diomande added to his debut goal for the Light Blues against St Johnstone by
clear at the top of the Premiership ahead of Celtic playing Motherwell on Sunday.
The oldest of those signings is midfielder Diomande at 22.
“It’s not just the goals, it’s also the way he’s playing. The way he’s defending, the way he’s working for the team and making choices
with the ball,” manager Clement responded when asked how happy he was with the older of his trio.
“January is a difficult month to join a team when half of the narrative has already been established and you have to start from scratch.
We spent a lot of time scouting him and have known about him for a while.
We were aware that the athlete would fit our preferred style of football play.
“He fits in with our football, which has made it easier for him to join the team. He can make use of his strengths,
and Oscar and Fabio can too.
It’s evident that they’re having fun and developing as young players. It’s quite significant.
Three of our young competitors in the winter market have a ton of room to expand.”
