Nuno Espirito Santo’s team is third in the Premier League standings with 11 games remaining and

has a genuine chance of qualifying for the Champions League. As their summer plans take shape, Nottingham Forest is reportedly interested in Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi. This will be

a crucial transfer window for the Reds and may involve getting ready for a European trip.

Nuno’s team will undergo changes at the end of the season, regardless of their position in the table. Italian journalist Nicolo Schira (via ESPN) claims that Forest is keeping an eye on Frattesi and that

if the Reds qualify for the Champions League, they “will try to buy” the 25-year-old. However, it

appears that they would have to compete for the Italy international’s signature, as Roma, where

Frattesi grew up, were interested in him during the winter transfer window. Italian reports indicate

that they will rekindle their interest at the end of the season, believing €35 million (£29 million)

would be sufficient to secure his signature.

After failing to recruit Frattesi last summer, Tottenham Hotspur has been suggested by Inter Live

to attempt again. Spurs are reportedly considering offering €30 million (£25 million) to try to entice

the player away.
In a reported €31 million (£25.5 million) deal, Frattesi left Sassuolo to join Inter after a loan period

was extended. Although his contract is set to expire in 2028, he hasn’t been able to establish himself

as a consistent starter this season, so an exit may be imminent. The Italian was “inclined to say

goodbye” in January, according to Inter Live, and will weigh his choices at the end of the season.
