Stoke City should keep an eye on these three strikers throughout the summer transfer window.
It appears that a striker will likely be on Stoke City’s shopping list as they get
ready for a pivotal summer transfer window.
Due to their inability to separate themselves from the bottom three,
Stoke City is still far from safe. Five points lay between SCFC in 19th in the
Championship table and Luton Town in 22nd as it stands. Nevertheless,
the Potters will be backed to stay up, and the club hierarchy will be making
plans to make sure they’re prepared if and when they do so.
It seems likely another striker will be on the radar come the summer.
Ali Al-Hamadi is only on loan, Sam Gallagher has a poor injury record,
Ryan Mmaee feels destined to depart for good,Mark Robins must be looking for a striker,
so we’ve listed three options for Stoke City to consider during the summer transfer window.
Karlan Grant, a 27-year-old striker or left-winger with six goals and two assists this season,
could do much worse than look at his situation at West Brom.
Grant had some excellent form early in the winter under Carlos Corberan,
but he appears to have fallen down the hierarchy under Tony Mowbray.
Since his contract expires in 2026, there’s a chance that a sale could be approved this summer;
if so, SCFC should think about making a move.
