The Nottingham Forest way, the hard way, and the easy way. The Reds defeated Ipswich Town on penalties to advance to the FA Cup quarterfinals for the second time in four years.

That remained the case until the penalty shootout, where Forest had to maintain composure to win again. The club scored all five goals here after Matz Sels saved Jack Taylor’s penalty kick to advance,

and the Reds were able to score all four of their penalties in the previous round at Exeter.

There were tremendous celebrations at the City Ground after the Belgian’s save. Now that they are

only one game away from Wembley Stadium, Forest will likely have to play Brighton once to get there.

This is a bit of a turn- up for the books. Although a penalty shootout win to reach the quarterfinals

of the FA Cup justifies jubilation, Nuno Espirito Santo is generally fairly modest on the touchline.

Even the penalties against the League One team, Exeter, were not seen by Espirito Santo. As Jack Taylor’s penalty was saved, he stood thoughtfully on the touchline and let his emotions flow.

Santo Espirito was not there. Sels’s outstretched hand was similar to Usain Bolt’s when he heard the Olympic starter’s orders, and it’s amazing he didn’t pull his hamstring given how he ran after his goalie.

Supporters will feel warm and fuzzy after seeing this video. Despite becoming a little more fervent this season, Espirito Santo hasn’t shown that side of himself much since joining the team, and it has resulted in a heartwarming video that has gone viral on social media.
