‘Such a maverick’: Pundit loved watching £10.6m Nottingham Forest star play during first half vs Ipswich
Nottingham Forest are taking on Ipswich Town this evening and it would appear as though it’s going to be a tight and niggly game.
Forest have gone with a mildly rotated team, with the Tractor Boys making eight changes from the team which lost to Manchester United last week.
The Reds had the majority of the chances in the first half. Danilo had a well struck effort blocked by a desperate Ipswich, whilst Ibrahim Sangare might have done better with an early header.
At half-time everything remains in the balance, it would seem as Brighton await to play the winners in the quarter-final of this year’s competition.
Lucy Ward hails Murillo during Nottingham Forest vs Ipswich Town
Murillo gets praised every single week and there is no exception tonight it would seem as the Brazilian got stuck into things again.
It’s the first FA Cup appearance that Murillo has made this season and he went about his business in typically flamboyant fashion.
Ward said live on ITV Sport: “He’s such a maverick, I love watching him play, he clearly enjoys it. He’s very watchable and he’s always getting involved at both ends of the pitch. He’s got that bit of something about him.”Murillo gets praised every single week and there is no exception tonight it would seem as the Brazilian got stuck into things again.

Murillo stars during first half against Ipswich
Murillo is doing well at the interval despite the fact that scores are level with 45 minutes – plus a possible extra 30 minutes – left to play in this FA Cup tie.
Murillo has made a tackle and a clearance, whilst he’s also been attempting some ambitious passes out to the flanks from his position at the heart of the back four.
The 22-year-old is set to go to the very top in world football. At times when he was trying to carry the ball out from the back, Ipswich couldn’t get near him and he’s a joy to watch.
Ward is spot on in her appraisal of Murillo. He’s growing with every performance and he really is poetry in motion when he’s in this kind of form wearing the Garibaldi.
