The Class of 2024–2025 was in a difficult situation after the costly and unsuccessful reset of

2023; they had to rebuild their team on a much smaller budget due to Financial Fair Play,

and they were also plagued by injuries and had to deal with two manager changes.

Since taking over as manager on New Year’s Day, Robins has struggled with selection, and the

midfield department has been a mirror of those difficulties. Wouter Burger has been injured

during his 11-month absence, Jordan Thompson and Bosun Lawal have hardly played this season,
